ITI Courses Duration
ITI courses can be of long and short duration.
- Long-Term Courses: These are longer, more in-depth courses that often last between one and two years. They seek to give a thorough understanding of a particular trade. Courses for Electricians, Copa, cutting & sewing, and other trades are a few examples.
- Short-term Courses: These are programs that last between six months and a year. They are tailored to equip students with a particular set of skills.
Types of ITI Courses
The two types of ITI Courses include –
- Engineering ITI Courses: Engineering courses are those that include technical or technological topics. You should be proficient in engineering, math, and science if you plan to enroll in engineering ITI courses.
- Non-engineering ITI Courses: Non-engineering courses cover topics unrelated to technology. Hence, you should possess strong soft skills, language abilities, job-specific skills, etc. if you plan to enroll in non-engineering ITI courses.
